The clouds. Have you ever imagined catching the clouds in a jar and then closing it? Or passing your hands through them? I do. Actually, every time the plane passes them by. Am fascinated by how this beautiful creation just floats in the air. Sometimes, upon looking closely at the shapes, images appear, most likely just in my mind. But still, apart from the green life on earth and the waves of the ocean, or even a waterfall (okay now, I need to stop with my listing of what captivates me), the clouds really and truly mesmerize me!!!
Man and woman are made of flesh and spirit. We can’t see the spirit with our physical eyes but there comes seasons in life that we can observe what one’s spirit truly is. One can bring down rain that can make others grow or produce dust and ice and become a stumbling block to others.
Apart from human beings, the rest of creation also changes. The mountains, valleys, oceans, animals in the sea and land also change over time. Historians talk a lot about evolution and how things are not the way they used to be centuries back in time. It is said that the only constant thing in life is change. I say the only constant thing in life is God. Can I hear a loud Amen?!! This is where the shouts of joy and praise need to be loudest!! I can change as a person. People all over the universe can behave differently tomorrow than how they have today. The flow, depth and breadth of the water sources all over can change. The animals and man-made creations can differ in years to come. The politics, economic, social and cultural aspects of the world will definitely change ten, twenty, fifty years to come. But the one who created all these is still the same!!
God himself states so in Malachi 3:6 that He, the LORD does not change. Hebrew 13:8 says Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. The Bible has plenty of stories of God’s faithfulness to not-so faithful human beings. I will make this post shorter than most as I am convinced once you take the Bible and begin reading it, your life can be transformed. So my prayer is that each one of us, including myself, will desire and actually soak ourselves in the word and allow it to change us to be more like our Creator.
How I pray, that as we read the Word of God, we will come to a place of total surrender to God’s plans for us. That we will receive revelation to His great plans that will give us hope and a future. Great plans that will lead all of us to meet Him one day. Holy Spirit, come and take your place in our lives and help us serve this Omnipresent, Omniscient God in a way that will please Him!! May Jehovah truly meet you according to His will for your life and the universe. There is hope for you and me. God bless and see you next week Friday!!
