Reflections from my Loss

Hi Everyone!!

From my previous post, I would like to share some few reflections. Here we go!!

  1. God is Omnipotent i.e All-Powerful, Al-Mighty. He is powerful. Yes, He is!! But not in a harmful way but to work out everything for our good. He would not be able to fulfill Romans 8:28 if He was not all-powerful. The verse states”And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose”.
  2. God is Omniscient. He knew me before I was knit in my mother’s womb. This applies to the baby that grew in my womb and lived for only 10 weeks. He knew this would happen and He allowed it to happen. Death borrowed its power from God for this to happen. It does not mean that He does not love. He is Alpha and Omega. He knows my beginning, my in-between and my end. Psalms 139:15 remains:-

13 For you created my inmost being;
    you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    your works are wonderful,
    I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
    when I was made in the secret place,
    when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
    all the days ordained for me were written in your book
    before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts, God!
    How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them,
    they would outnumber the grains of sand—
    when I awake, I am still with you.

3. God has plans to prosper me. Jeremiah 29:11… For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. This word remains true to this day. This word was written to me and for me. It is mine!! Our new child, a daughter, our daughter, God’s child, is an evidence of God’s good plans for me, for us. His thoughts for His children are truly uncountable!

While writing this post, I just realized that am writing this for me. For my own healing. As I open the pages of the Bible reading through the verses for this post, I felt a wind blowing over me, over my heart. Lord, am touched by your caring nature over me. As 1 Peter 5:7 says ”Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you”. I dedicate this post to myself. Truly the Lord is singing over me..Zephaniah 3:17..

”The Lord your God is with you,
    the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you;
    in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
    but will rejoice over you with singing.”

May the Lord continue to preserve and sustain us!! There is hope for you and me. In Christ Jesus!!!
